Ev PVR 5000 channels lost. Tried Re-Scan twice.

Hi Guys, reading these posts I'm having same problem as others.
PVR500, bad or no signal on aprox 20% channels.
Have done 'Update Channels' never worked still lost.
Have done 'Quick Scan' never worked, still lost
Have done 'Deep Scan' never worked, still lost.
Checked all connections and tried them all again so now done all twice, still got missing channels.
I read on other posts that a few are the same but advise given to those folks hasn't worked for me.
I'm in Devon, can anyone advise???

Have you tried re-flashing the box???by the way are you sure that you got a live feed coming in....

Yeah got live feed, strange just noticed of of channels lost is Channel 4?
also FX?
Not sure which other ones?

What do you mean by 'flashing box'? re-loading data, software from PC? If so yes have latest version released in Jan 09 ( I think )

I know you have the software already on but try re-flash again just in case....(latest firmware is dated 24/02/09)
