Syria alkrama on that same transponder is broadcasting a loop of material which is pro the Syrian opposition eg a man can be seen kicking an image of Assad.

I wonder if it's being broadcast from inside Syria or maybe Turkey or Iraq.

Hi again all,

A new package has started on this satellite...

10.731 V [45000] 2/3 DVB-S2 [8PSK] 89.1 Mbps [Wide Beam]

MBC/Orbit Showtime Network
MBC HD [VPID 0401/APID 0601/PPID 0401]
MBC 2 HD [VPID 0402/APID 0602/PPID 0402]
MBC 4 HD [VPID 0403/APID 0603/PPID 0403]
MBC Action HD [VPID 0404/APID 0604/PPID 0404]
MBC Max HD [VPID 0405/APID 0605/PPID 0405]
Al Arabiya HD [VPID 0406/APID 0606/PPID 0406]
MBC Drama HD [VPID 0407/APID 0607/PPID 0407]

Betacrypt/Conax/Irdeto2

...but who can lock/receive this transponder/package...?
I certainly can't... the best unlocked signal readings I can get are...

TM 5402 HD CI+ Super+
Signal Strength 97%
Signal Quality 46%

FlySat/KingOfSat have this transponder/package on the Wide Beam... so we should be able to lock this... however I think the problem we're up against here with this transponder/package is nothing to do with which beam it's on... it's the associated DBR (Digital Bit Rate) which is listed on KingOfSat as a massive 89.1 Mbps ...I don't think I've ever seen such a high DBR on any transponder... and it's accompanied by a Symbol Rate of 45000 and a low FEC value of 2/3

Can anyone get a lock on this transponder/package...?

Best Wishes,
Zorch
