Eurovox advice

Hi all, i was told the eurovoxs are the easiest boxes to flash, so i am looking to buy one. I cant really find a 123 step to how you flash them but a friend of mine said you just connect the null cable to the pc and press flash. I have about 100-150 to spend on a box, eurovox or any other box that is better than the eurovox. Advice is much appreciated.

downloading the firmware is very straight forward and simple.

Hi mate all the Eurovox boxes are the same to flash!
Connect null modem.
Find which com port it's connected to.
Run up the Dupman (Box firmware)
Select the com port.
press send
turn box on
that's it!!!!

Thanks alot for that mate, i have the eurovox max 2008 at present already flashed. How often do i need to update the f/w?

Glad I saw this post.
I have to flash this box for my mate.
Do I just open the loader and select latest firmware and download.

Does the box have to be turned off or on standby while loading?

Or do you switch on the box at the wall when you hit the download button?

just tried it with mine and all it does is jump from com port to com port and then says it cant find the box any ideas whats wrong??????????

Hi all,
loaded the latest update to the max v and it looked like it all loaded ok.
0000 came on the box after the download and did a factory reset and went to scan for channels but it will not scan.

Have I done something wrong?

One of the instructions I've found, says "important" After download" DO A FACTORY DEFAULT THEN POWER SCAN.

when ive ever had to put the new fix on all ive done is uploaded it to the box and then just gone into the new menu,chosen user installation and then fast install.i presume your putting the new auto sort feature on.by doing a factory reset (i am guessing at this) it will set it back to when you first got the box
