err message

Hi everyone,

I wonder if you could help me, ive got a ditv1000t pace box but now when i switch it on i get a message: err4 for about 1 sec then nit with flashing led's on the display?????
please help.

ERR4 is fatel down load error - the flash ram in the box is gone bonkers. Don't know what the solution is for a modded box, but for an original box, it normally involves getting it replaced.

dont hold me to it got this from somewhere else

reflow the chip and it worked ok if not blank chips can be bought from jabs for £10 from memory

There is no such thing!

There is a DiTV1000 (C&W) and a Di1000-T (TW).

Get into the engineers menu and find your "Code Release Version" on page 2.

Also, what area are you in?

Err4 can be caused by an incorrect download (platform object not found).

i fixed mine with a test simm do a search for test simm and look for my posts
