Elvis has left the building....

I bought a new elvis pack from a well known mail order retailer last week, and although I have used it successfully a few times, it has now died. Is this a known problem? I haven't moved the thing or disconnected the serial cable, and I have tried it using a battery instead of the PSU supplied with it. I have also tried a new serial cable, and before you ask I have not given it a static belt, but it steadfastly refuses to switch on (red led) or be detected by MP6 or MKFind.

Any Ideas??????

have you tried another serial port or checked your serial port to see if it's working or on another pc ?

Yes m8 - I tried on my Toshy Laptop with the same result. However.... I mailed the retailer (MB Electronics) at 9.44 last night and had a reply 25 mins later. They said to send it back and I would receive a new one by return of post - unbelievable service - full marks to them!!

Why can't you get the same result from Curry's????
