Ea Sports Active - Update

Hi,

Just bought this game but it is saying I need to update the firmware before playing it.

I have a softmodded Wii (3.1 I think).

Is there a way to play the game without applying the upgrade or do I have to apply the upgrade and then try another softmod?

Bit worried about bricking the Wii so any help is appreciated.

you could install preloader and set it to skip disc updates you want to install version 0.28.
