downloading problem

each time i try to d/load anything over 5/6 meg the download stops half way,this happens on pc & laptop,i am on cable modem any help please

Hiya.. why don't you use something like a download manager e.g. mass downloader to download items. The benefit of these is that it lets you stop/pause/resume downloads.

As for downloading stopping half way through, could be a number of reasons.. e.g. connection may have dropped in your router.. too many packet losses etc.. I would recommend using a download accelerator to help curb your problem

I use Bitcoment for downloading of internet site, and it also lets you download torrents aswell, very handy and usefull
