Surely the Forum is not just about getting answers but also having interaction and occasional banter with others.
Feck, is that what having Alexa is like ?
I've always tried to avoided crepe like that, but now it is being thrust upon us without being asked if we want it.

I intended to stay away but it's difficult when you've been visiting every day for 18 years. As @Joe Noodles said I can just elect to ignore. I really take umbrage with the use of AI in a forum. AI doesn't have ideas or experience and is just a shortcut to Google.
Any of us with any sense whatsoever have tried Google before posting our question.
If it were confined to searching the forum only I wouldn't mind it so much as it could benefit newbies who never seem to use the search feature.
