Did anyone else from here go this year?
We had a great time!
Heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday meant that by midday on Friday the arena was a mud bath. They tried to soak up most of it using straw but it didn't make much difference.
Friday was great, highlights came from seeing Fear Factory and Machine Head from the front of the barrier. The Prodigy were awesome but due to the weather we left before the end of the set.
Saturday highlights, Saxon never really heard them much before but they put on a great show! As Metallica were playing they had a stage that came out into and around the crowd. We managed to get into the middle of this to see Steel Panther from there. Corey Taylor (Slipknot and Stone Sour) came out with them. Met Jack Black and Kyle Gass from Tenacious D backstage. Chris Jericho from WWE and his band Fozzy.
Sunday highlights, went to see Sebastian Bach and he sang a few good old Skid Row songs. Managed to see Dave Mustaine backstage then quickly ran to the front for Megadeth. Got onto the Vodafone viewing platform to watch Black Sabbath!
