DM500s Network Inactive

iv got a dm500s that keeps saying network inactive. the connection is plugged in but iv tired image's such as pli, nabilosat and others but getting that same message. im using dreamup to flash the image. this is the only box that i have had problems with. the others have worked fine.

any ideas?

Can you ping the box to make sure its not a faulty Ethernet port?

there should be at least 1 led inside on the left edge of the main board you can see through the vents it should light up when a network cable is inserted

yeah if i was to flash the box with dreamup and do a ping test it says ping OK. (but that is with no network cable in it as im flashin using serial)

when i do put a network cable in i can see the orange light up through the vents. Iv never had a problem with dm500s apart from this box that i have got

Go to your system settings , Network then ensure only DHCP is ticked ... I have PLI image and DHCP kept dropping out and had tick in enable network hencer nop connection. Had to reload image and all fine now.
