I suspect the router gives out the wifi as well ? If that is the case,

you can try and put this fixed in your diablo wifi :
ETSI (for europe)
Acces point name (SSID) : ?
Encryption : No encryption, WEP, WPA-PSK TKIP, ... ?
WIFI password : ?
IP : 192.168.1.10
NetMask : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.1.1
DNS : 192.168.1.1

The ? are info you only know , how your router wifi is configured...

if you can update keys it means you did the config ok

tried those ip settings-getting amber/red/green
no screen messages
but... the cline isnt clearing

Can you update keys from within the menu of the Diablo Wifi ?

If not it means that your wifi is not right configured


don't bother posting the colors. No one in here knows what the colors mean ...

If you have followed my instructions, (AU.XML) then in the diablocam Wifi menu under the meny Keys you can do an internet update

what keys do i put in to test my configuration
is there a way to test with cas plugged into computer?

add / replace au xml
add my cline cnf
anything ive missed?

Find someone in the neighbourhood who understand this things

>> If course the cam needs to know the pass this otherwhise it wont be able to
connect towards your Wifirouter. but if SSID is not correct it wont work neither ...

I suggest you reread all the postings in here as I think you do not grasp
the WIFI config concept. It has been clearly laid out which tools to use and wich settings are relevant and must be correct.

If you do not know WIFI networking then get someone by yr side who understands !

I have two WIFI Diablo cams, both at present causing me some problems. One tends to start reformatting then error format comes on and only red light stays on, the other was working fine until stupid me decided to update the underworld 204 file from another forum, started to update fine, then suddenly, decided to freeze and now the cam is not recognized, can anyone please suggest anything I could do to fix them. Thanks.
