COULD ANYONE HELP ME, DI1000 BOX ON TELEWEST WAS WORKING FINE BUT RECENTLY POWERS UP BUT ALL YOU SEE IS BLACK SCREEN WITH TELEWST LOGO SAYING LOADING DATA.Cheers:

what u want to check is the netid and the frequency
to do this go into engineers menu
to do this turn off the power hold the up and down buttons (where the 4 buttons r)
and keep holding then power up the box
keeping hold
after a bit it will come on to a blue screen with info on it
release the buttons
the first page will show u the default frequncy
note this
then press the right button out of the 4 page 2
look at the network id note this
then post what u have and also what area and who ur cable provider is

I was not able to get 1000 working.. you might want to check if your area got vod.. if so you might want to try a box with 3.2 software.

@honekonger - check to see if the box has had the anti update mod done (open up the box and look at the SIMM card just behind the display - does it have four chips on it or two (and two spaces which look like chips used to be there)). If it's only got two chips and Teleport has just hit your area this may explaim why the box has suddenly stopped working.
