Deleting channels on EX1100 USB?

How can i delete the PPV 1 and 2 channels without going in and viewing them as have been billed £50 from Virgin and havent even watched the films, just flicked past the channel ffs?

cannot happen,these boxes have no talk back,so how can you order films.There must be some mistake on there part..or the wife is watching on the subbed box ,when your asleep.
If its the latter,your a lucky man,bin the box.

I used to have a V+ box in its place, someone bought it off me.

If they use it at their house and watch ppv can i be billed for it or what way does it work?

Well a friend said he could chip it and then said it would not work so gave it to him.

Can this be used and billed against me and how the hell am i gonna get out of this and stop future billings?

that box is registered to u so yea u can get billed , u might have to say its stolen if u cant get it back m8

No this is the total truth.

I had a V+ box, chipped and went wrong, gave it back to the guy that chipped it and he said he couldnt fix it.

So went and bought one of these EX1100usb boxes as have had not telly for a month now and getting billed for ppv over the last few days.

So obviously the guy has sold the V+ box on to someone else who is now using it.

Is there a way i can get the V+ box cancelled so nonone can use it and bill me?

I know lots of people on here say never ever mess with a subbed box, it is the property of VM so unless you can get the box back off your "mate" there is not much else you can do that has not been mentioned in this thread. I would guess VM would not be happy and a bit suspicious about one of their boxes bein sold. Can i just ask why you were chipping your subbed box when you can buy a dm500 for £50 or so?

Didnt know about the dm500 mate.

If phoned VM and said was stole can they stop ppv on that box and could i get into trouble as would have to report it stolen a month ago?

You will need to phone the police first, report the "crime" and recieve a crime number, then i would phone VM.

Be warned this is fraud though and insurance fraud is investigated ever more. Personally I think you are stuck in a corner untill you speak to the person you sold the box to.

He is avoiding a whole lot of people though and not answering mobile.

Not gonna go the fraud route will just own up to VM and say that my box was broke, didnt know that it was their property and gave it to a friend of a friend to fix and never heard back from him
