ddwrt slowing my VM speed down

just realised my ddwrt router TPLink WDR3600 is slowing my VM speeds down

when laptop connected directly into SH I get 350 Mb/sec
when going thru ddwrt router I get 150 Mb/sec

I used same ethernet cable and confirmed connection to SH and ddwrt was at 1GBit

Anyone else had the same issue

Is there any vpn on ddwrt slowing it down?

Just read it has ~800Mbit WAN-LAN throughput so no bottleneck there.

looks like my TPLink router running ddwrt is the bottleneck, just ordered a ARM based CPU router. Temda AC15 for 35 quid
