iPhone Cydia?

Hi,

My Galaxy Nexus has stopped working, it's still under warranty and is in for repair so in the meantime I've gone back to my factory unlocked 3GS which is on iOS 6.1.3, I jailbroke it last night and as it has installed Cydia which I haven't used for a few years I left it to install SBsettings but this morning I got up to find it has failed, is Cydia still working for jailbreaking? or is there an alternative nowadays?

Just ran Cydia again, it comes up with the following errors:

POSIX Operation timed out Downloading Activator

POSIX Operation timed out Downloading libhide

POSIX Operation timed out Downloading Serious SBsettings HD

Cydia has gone through some major updates mate to work on the newer devices ,when you get the errors your getting usually a reboot or restring sorts them out I know for the 2nd gen iPod/iphone there is whited00r ios7 so there is no reason that cydia won't work on your device keep trying but respring or reboot , and post back see how your getting on

Ok got it working at work, possibly something to do with my VPN at home. Now have a new issue, Cydia stopped working after installing some repos. Couldn't get it into safe mode, so I ended up doing a restore thru iTunes, it's still on 6.1.3 but no matter what I do I can't get p0sixspwn to work. It says waiting on device to reboot and just sits there. I've tried different USB ports, run as administrator, Win Xp compatibility mode, nada. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64bit on my laptop but tried it on my Win 7 32bit PC still same issue. I've tried v1.0.4/0.5/0.7 of p0sixspwn all either sit there saying waiting on reboot or they crash, especially the 0.5 and 0.7 versions. Anything else worth trying?

Ok got it working, after trying to install p0sixspwn thru my girlfriends PC it failed again, I ended up doing another restore and the jailbreak worked this time :banana::banana::banana:
