I was looking to buy a desktop computer but I thought I might as well build one myself.

Anyone know where I could buy some decent components at good prices.

Many thanks

For components and peripherals I've bought from Overclockers, Aria, ebuyer, Scan, Dabs, Komplett, Amazon and quietPC in the past. I've also looked at CCL - though never bought from them.

My current prefered retailer is ebuyer, and has been for at least 18 months. Even when ebuyer aren't the cheapest, it's normally only a few pence so the option of free postage when you spend over £50 usually rebalances total cost in ebuyer's favour.

Have to agree with the other guy.
OC UK
Ebuyer
Ebay (but only buy from uk sellers, beware the chinese for fake hardware parts)
Aria
Also maybe Checkout "pcwb" its the business arm of pc world as they sometimes do great deals on hardware too...

Hope this helped ;)
