I realise now that the LCD (which is perfect BTW, no stripes) was showing the "Mute" display, even though it wasnt. A reboot sorted that out.

More importantly, this morning I was watchin the cricket (whoo-hoo 244 all out!) decided to flick over to Sports 2 and got a black screen and message "Channel not available", went back to Sports 1, same message and same black screen, tried every channel; all of them were black and everyone had the same message seems like it was wiped clean of channel memory, tried re-load channel list, no joy in the end I had to re-send the bouquet (using Bouquet wizard) re-load channels and bingo it a came back. So a black mark for stability? or can anyone out there offer a suggestion?

Btw I'm Using a Nokia 2x Dbox2 wth Commando 6

turn off background and it wont happen again
its a known bug in almost all the new images and is being widely looked at

if you have a look in the don specialist fixed thread there is a zapit file in one of the posts this will change the zapit back to the zapit without the english translation and should solve this issue for now.

as hunter as siad this problem is commen on all new images using the translated zapit file. but it seems to be so funny as all thats been change is a translation of the (unsorted) (new channel) boutiques for the background scan.

Again many thanks for the replies and help. I've downloaded it and looking at the Don thread it talks about a good background scan so to fix this problem do I still need this zapit file even though I have background off? Or to fix the problem do I need to turn background on, or are these dumb questions!!

Been having problems with other images in freezing my Sagem box but its running solid with this image. Thanks chaps. btw, I have a 1 x chip Sagem.

Fantastic work, this image works the best on my sagem 1x box. no freezes or hangups at all.

Bug? I think I've found a bug (and the answer to my previous LCD post above). Mute the sound, change channel and sound comes back on but TV still shows mute symbol in top RH Corner and LCD shows muted. Press mute key sound stays on and symbol and LCD show correctly. Minor point just thought youd like the Feedback!!

Hi can someone help me here please i have friend with sagem dbox he has this commando6 image on he cant get any channels after scan i have a nokia box same image runs fine i never seen a sagem box anyone here can help please***

a possible thought, is it a 1x sagem? If so did you load the correct 1x Commando image? And it may need the 'special files' from the download section?

Hi sagem dbox2 he says****does he need to set netid**

If that's the case, press the blue button and select Set My Location. Select the area from the selected lists and the box will reboot. Do another scan and see what you get!

Just discovered a potential bug! Not sure if it's image or just unlucky!

Just flashed this image, thought I'd have a play!

Went to drivers settings and noticed that Nokia Avia 600 drivers were selected by default, so turned off to select the avia 500 driver and now the box brings up the startup picture then goes into standby!

Just thought I'd let you's know!

Hmm... found something very similar on my Sagem. It was set to Avia600, changing this also selected Avia600, but with an option to change the driver from version 022, but trying to change this, (eg. to 028) brings up an error that no replacement could be found - looking around in the filesystem confirms this.

Changing this didn't seem to cause a problem, but I found that I could no longer boot after changing some other settings (I think avia/enx watchdog). I may be wrong though as I didn't check this thoroughly - it could be the same problem.
