Hi there,

My cloud ibox 4 isnt flashing from usb, i have tried openpli so far and also openvix with no success. I'm leaving the box powered off, sticking usb in and then powering on. The red light at the front stays static and ive left it for 20 minutes and nothing seems to happen, the original image just comes back again.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Thanks

It could be that you have flashed one of the images containing the driver time bomb driver and it now bricked and will need to be jtagged.

Try another usb stick but if that does not work then read the jtag thread in this section.

try another usb stick as i found there a little picky with the usb stick used

Managed to get the sly skin onto the openvix image already on it but when i try to install TSMedia i get an error, Any ideas?

Also what is best and most updated sly skin for the openvix image?

Install tsmedia via telnet with this command.

opkg update && opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

It will also install the dependencies needed to run.

Install the attached with the same telnet command then try tsmedia again.
