Chicago Route 66

Hi,

Does anyone know if this unit is nay good. I know it uses Navteq maps but do not know what version comes preinstalled.

Reviews are mixed so would appreciate hearing form nayone who has one.

I bought the Chicago route 66 about 2 weeks ago. I live in ROI and i can say that the maps are quite decent. I navigated my wayfrom Middlesbrough UK to Liverpool ferry port last week without asking any body. I think the screen size is impressive too.

The version of software on it is version 7.

I'm loving it.

Thanks. After a few weeks of use I find the unit very impressive although I don;t have a lot to compare it against. I also discovered that The map versions are Nav Teq Q2 2006.

Not sure when the next update is due. (Would also like to get hold of the European maps if anyone has them).
