TBH I didn't realise that IPTV could be as realiable as it is. Now I'm sorted on a setup for that the end of cs seems a lot less important. One door closes and another door opens complete with full HD and more :banana:

Depends what full HD means, it's usually bit rate reduced to fit on the internet & can be as a low as 1Mb/s for HD & still call it HD & a long way of satellite bit rates

agreed but a big difference over the SD channels.
My HD channels are pretty impressive to be honest for IPTV

yes you get full EPG.
Ive got mine set up on my Enigma 2 sa box and it does record to my HDD.
But it wont record if you have it set up on a tv or amazon firestick app.etc

Comes with full epg though recording is not straightforward. In effect it's like only having a single tuner really. Can't record another channel while watching something else

Its possable if set up on a enigma 2 box mate.

ive just recorded from Disc Shed whilst watching Disc Turbo.

Didn't work when I tried it. In effect it's like logging onto same account twice isn't it? Unless you have a multiroom account I guess.

Nah ive only got a single connection account.
But records from another channel fine.
I can even stream to my mobile using "transcoding for Xtrend" and watch a different channel.
what i cant do is have it playing on my Xtrend then try to play it through my Smart Tv app or flawless app on my mobile at the same time.

i guess on the sat box it still classed as being logged in from one device? and not multiple devices.

So the flawless script creates the bouquets and imports a full epg for all channels?

How is the epg updated?

one last thing, I have another provider on my box now and every now and then I find I have to change channel up and back as it freezes. This is only on the box as I've tested it on aftv etc with no issue. It's random too, sometimes it can go for hours.

yes the script installs the bouquets and epg.. i also run epgimporter for USA channels.
cron timers update the channel lists and EPG every day at 8am.

i only have the odd freeze on some USA channels.
apart from that its never froze on any of the devices i watch it on.

Guys I dont want to come across as moaning but this thread is for Satellite channels that are disappearing
We do have a IPTV section for discussions
