right...

well.. i got home from work tonight only to find that the blade 7000 had arrived this morning... well chuffed :)

So I takes the box from the packaging... takes the blade from its box thinking hmmm nice bit of kit, smart glossy black.. :)

connected the blade to my TV via hdmi... puts the batteries in the remote.. and switched the blade on at the back.....

and then............................. fook all!!!!! :(

the red light on the front of the blade and the lcd things that make up the display are just flashing???

the display is just flashing '8888'

im thinking its a bit knackered...

ive waited now for a few mins.... and thats all it does..

any ideas anyone??

thats not right... switch the box of and unplug from the mains for a couple of minutes and power it back up again.....

if it happens again then you might have a broken box and youll need to contact your supplier....

done that mate.. still the display flashing '8888' and the red light..

well pissed off!!!

ill phone the shop first thing.....

cheers anyway ;)

im sure you are pissed off mate... not nice having a new box you cant use....

if you got a little time google, BM7000 Bootup Error Fix ... and see if that works, worth a try mate :)

this is a flashing red dot and the display though??

worth a try i suppose...

**Update**

didnt work mate... pushed the 'menu' button down while turning on the power and waited... the only thing that did happen was the display changed from 4 number eights to three.... '8888' to this '888'
