my daughters blackberry curve 8520 has just locked up on opening screen have tried ctrl alt n del just reboots and does the same is there anyway of resetting it please.took it back to shop but because she had new cover on they wont touch it..wont even connet to pc now just keep on saying initializing..any help wud do please as she is lost without it ..thnx in advance

Think you may need to reflash with the bootloader mate.
Download the blackberry desktop software and get the correct the bootloader for your curve 8520
