I do try to be positive, but when you read a thread like this it becomes very difficult. The mods have a hard enough job as it is without having to spoonfeed people who can't be bothered to pay attention.

it is only 97x98 but file size is quite large.

Made the file size nearly 10k smaller for you:

The lowest i could get it to was 20k but it doesn't look very good.

The other couple of forums I Admin we have basic sizes and allow NO exceptions.
Avatars are 150 x 150 (we did have a max file 120kb size but found most people couldn't use an animated one so it was lifted) and Signatures 500 x 150. The boards look a lot neater and tidier if it's kept that way. Some of the avatars on here before were huge and knockng the template of the forum off centre.
