Anyone got the Chinese VU+ Solo2

Remove the battery cover and batteries, the remote then unclipped, I used a plastic pry tool to get it apart. I don't think it's made any difference to be honest but over time it does become less click but the OK button and directional pad are just as vague as hell.

I more pee'd off because the remote cannot be programmed to operate a tv or change the remote code

there are no more V1 ,every seller has V2,what ive heard all the sellers "upgraded" their V1 to a V2 ....hardware or software thats the question...so it isnt a question anymore from whitch seller ure buying or ordering you Solo2 ... Youl get the V2

i have fixed the clicking on the remote


Remove the battery cover and batteries then unclip
i just used my thumb nail to unclip
once apart remove the 2 screws
on the main board there are 4 plastic silver disc`s held on by sticky tape
peel that sticky tape back and turn the 4 disc`s over so the dome bit faces down to the board
stick disc`s back down with the same tape
put remote back together

no more clicking

It still wont fix the programmable problem i.e. if you press 1+6 until the led lights then enter 993 it will control your tv mute volume on/off this remote wont do that also 1+6 then av changes the input for the tv 2+7 should change the remote codes but no this is a cheap knockoff remote

yes the remote will still work

no more pressing the button 3 times to change channel
just follow what i posted take your time
took me about 15 mins
to open the remote find a solution and close it

when you uncilp it start in the middle then work towards the top
do the same on the other side of the remote
do the bottom last

when you put it back together
do the bottom first making sure the battery spring sits in the hole

AJT, base your decision on price, the cloud ibox is much cheaper, number 1 and 3 to me sound like a clone solo2 that you want except make sure it's a v2.

My seller still hasn't got back to me, looks like he's ignoring me

thanks u so much for this wonder full tips. i shall do it in my first spare time. i will together the remote without plates if its working without plate then why they have used them in remote. ?

@AJT the cloud box isnt physicaly like the VU Solo2 so just becareful bro!The other 2 looks like the ones we have..
