if its the cyberhome 528 m8 its a good player we have one good picture quality plays mp3s vcd dvd dvdr but the one your link shows says it plays svcd but ours doesnt also you cant disable macro also i have dvdr that wont play in our pioneer but play superbly in the cyber 528 its a nice player m8 but the supplier i dont know bought ours from unbeatable about 9 months ago we use it a lot

thanks for the info billy2hats it's only £100 + £13 p/post so i think i may go for it . i want to use it for a mp3 player as much as a dvd player.

theres also a deccavideo dvd player on special looks quite nice silver slim and plays all dvd,svcd,cvd,dvcd,vcd,cd,cdr,cdr-w,mp3 dts out also multi regional and macro disable the picture quality is ok plays discs ok local power house stores selling for £109 just incase the missus likes the slim silver dvd players as mine does coz they gotta look nice aswell the cyberhome is bigger than the decca model

one of the best i,ve come across,

"NOT LITERALLY "lol,
catch is yer gotta buy 3 dvd,s in the first year, an 3 in the second,

after much consideration and helpful advice i have now took the plunge and gone for this Yelo 800 Multregion DVD Player http://www.second-spin.com/acatalog/ i am also told there is a macro hack for this i have read some fantastic reviews of this player it been around for a while but still getting great reviews now and at a nice price ..yum.yum a new toy to plug into my 42"tosh

If it's not too late have a look at Dansai 852 from Tesco at £99 - it will do multi region and you can switch off macrovision in "hidden menu"....
Only thing I do't like is screensaver has a weird glitch which shows up when no disc in - but you just switch off power for a few secs and put a disc in and everything is then ok - excellent vfm - a good performer for price!

Richer Sounds are great, but don't buy one of their " LIMIT " DVD players. They're unreliable.
