any corgi plumbers can tell me please when a person moves into an house and a plumber comes round to check the boiler to issue a certificate for the landlord(what exacly does he have to check and do) from start to finsh cheers very much

everything....flue.... ventilation..all matter of up to date regulations...gas pressure ...burner pressure....if any are wrong the boiler wont fire up correctly and wont be safe.....anything thats suspect wont pass and cert wont be issued,

as thommo says they should check everything from the soundness of the supply to the correct and safe operation of any as applinces in the property
