alternative poss fix for keyroll

Hi,

I am in a ex NTL area. Found no channels decoding this morning.

Was runing MGCamd 1.14 on a DM7025 as found that caused no stutters in the picture.

Added MGCamd 1.29 (latest) and poof auto updated Softcam.key with latest key.

So works here using ROM7/Standard Autoroll.key file using MGCamd 1.29.

i have dm7025 and since the mnual key update and using evocamd 2.17 it is still working strong.
even this morning it is still ok.
 
dead again now! sorry peeps, not an alt solution, obviously they re doiung something like TPS or testing something new

how do you install a new cam on a 500c ?.
 
I'll check tonight, it has the latest image from here but can't remember how I set it up. Someone @ work told me about the key changes, phoned the wife and asked her to try it. Black screen on the movie channels, switched to bbc news for a couple of minutes, back to a Sky movie channel black screen for 30 secs then all back to how it should be.
Area is Camberley Surrey.

i just sussed out how to download the mgcam1.29a and loaded it up and it rolled within 20seconds.evocam2.12 gives nothing in TW.

Silverdale - did you just put it under var/emu? - just trying to install the new mgcamd to my neutrino image so not 100% how to do this :-s

anyone found it?

also, how do you install it on a 500c with DW2.0 image?

I havent tried it yet cause someone convinced me it wont work, and i can see the logic on why it wont. The camd is not the problem. its the fact that the keyrollout is pushing the emulator to change the code... (i think)

I might still give it a go.

how do i put that thingy to autoroll on gbox 2.25c
 
I tried MGCAM 1.29 a few minutes ago - still no joy (ex-TW) I think you're right, we need an updated AU
