I found this on another site, but thought it would be usefull for all those people who are considering upgrading to Windows 7.

Some kind sole has gone out of his way to try all these progs on Windows 7, I would have given him the credit he deserves, but there was no mention of an author.

I am new to Win 7 and have made much progress with my accustomisation including solving the problem of Sounds and recording sounds. As they say, easy when you know how. If anyone else is having a problem with Sounds let me know and I'll explain what I did.

Wow, that would have taken agers, thankyou.

I been using 7 since the beta (upgraded from xp) and I havn't had any trouble with compatibilty. 10 months before seven was released you could download AVG-free for 7. I'm now running 7 on all 3 of my PC's
Xp gave me more problems when I upgraded from 98se. I don't really see what all the fuss is about with MS's new O/S.

Seen plenty of problems at work with W7, mostly I think because we are going to 64-bit edition rather then XP to 7 migration. On the plus side XP Mode works quite well if you have the hardware capable of supporting it.
