Advent 7102 Help

Have had this laptop for years without problem but the other night my wife turned it on and there is no display and it seems no activity at all. Had been on charge and was very very hot. Any ideas where to look for faults or is it time to go out and spen some hard earned cash that I cant spare??

Try taking out the battery and running it on mains only. Let us know if you still have same problem.

didnt work buddy, seems to be no activity at all no beeps no nothing. think its fried
