Acekard 2i help

yep, if you press start it without an sd card in, it should just say "Loading" accross bottom screen.

could be a problem with the contacts as well, sometimes the contacts on acekards dont connect properly with the console.

I don't see the 'loading' screen at all mate, as soon as I select the AK2i icon it jumps to a black screen with the '...an error has occurred' message.

I tried the paper trick a few times with different thicknesses of paper but it hasn't helped.

I've emailed the seller twice but no reply so far.

it must be a duff card m8,
you should get the loading screen without sd card.
you know its not the console or sd card and you don't need firmware to get the loading screen.

so if its not contact issue problem, then must be a duff card.

i had an acekard before that would work most of the time but give that "error has occured" message occasionally during gameplay.
with this card it was contact problem and sorted it with paper trick.
i was hoping that would be what was wrong with yours....

i can't think of anything else to try except hound the seller...

Still no reply to 3 emails sent to Gameconsoleworld.co.uk.

I'll give them one more chance before I do a charge back on my credit card.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a call tomorrow.
