You ahve tried two differnt receivers and differnt LNBs. So the problem must be somewhere else.
Are you using any wall plates at your place?
Have you tried the receiver at another locatione?

Hi, sorry I haven't been in for a while. I have even tried changing my coax cable now and still no luck. I have contacted the company I bought the box from suggesting I may have a faulty tuner. They have asked me to send my back and they will send me another. Can I ask what you mean by wall plates??

No I dont have those, just direct cables to the LNB.

Just to finish the thread, I have finally got to the bottom of the problem. It must have been a faulty tuner, I returned my tuner and they sent me a new one and now all works perfectly.
Hurray eventually can start to enjoy the dreambox properly.
