2020 MacBook Air. i3 or i5 processor?

I'm looking to get a 2020 MacBook Air and I was told that I should look into spending $100 extra to get the i5 processor over the i3 because I would feel the difference in a year.
Is it worth the $100? I only planned on general web browsing and not much else more intensive.

Quick answer is no. Why a macbook if it's just for browsing?

As above. An i3 is just fine for browsing, but why on earth would you want to pay the sort of silly money that a MacBook Air costs if you're only going to be browsing and such?

hackintosh and have the best of both worlds
for the money you will pay for a macbook you can get an i7 machine that will run osx
and windows
