2004 clio dashboard problem

When driving in the dark i notice as i press the brake pedal the rear fog light on the dashboard lights up dim as shown in the picture below





I have also noticed today when having the front wipers on whenever i press the brake pedal my rear wiper goes? Both these problems occur when pressing the brake. I have checked all lights are working.

Any help please?

did this start after a jet wash??

somthing is interfereing with electrics

the clio i think has a wiring loom + connector passenger side wing that gets water in causing loads of problems

not sure if this car has any know problems that would cause this but the 1st thing i would check for is a bad earth

just had a quick look and find this info

bad earth on the back light ,where the plastic connector block connects to the light ,run another earth or the plastic bulb holder has corroded connector bars

deffo sounds like a bad earth. fords used to be a bugger for the same thing
