Logitech Harmony 700 Advanced Universal Remote

well got mine today, impressed so far, got my projector, surround sound, wd tv live, all setup where im happy with the buttons as i only need basic functions from these devices as there already setup to how i like them, having abit bother with the all off button and the dreambox though, when i click all off, it switches everything else off fine, but for some reason switches the 800se to channel 88, lol, then i manually have to switch off from the power toggle onscreen from the device, if i goto help it asks if it has switched off i press no, then it tries again and then it switches off fine.. i presume it should be storing this second setting which works, but next time i try it it just does the same and switches to channel 88, and i cant seem to program the all off button while its connected to the pc, anyone got any ideas as other than that im all setup, just this little niggle, overall, great bit of kit and works very well apart from said problem, but thats probably more me than the remote, lol!

Does it do all it should on the dreambox apart from the power off, can you get into the menu bla bla bla

yeah mate pretty much everything else, although the buttons seem to be allover the shop, i manually changed the channel up and down buttons, so that they changed the bouquet up and down as to me it just feels better that way, still cant for the life of me get it to switch off properly, got me stumped, like i said i can still turn it off by going into devices, just cant get it to switch off with 1 click!

lol having fun already then, how have yout got it setup in activetes?? You can change the order on how they are turned on and off if i remember corretly maybe try that first, or in device maybe change the power on speed see if that helps

tbh i never have everything going off so cant say for sure

Got it setup yesterday and works great on my DMHD 800 (original) and all my other gadgets, great remote for the money.

it's telling me i can run 8 items from it even though it said 6

i cant find nothing mate to change order of them going off, i can change the order they startup by holding help, to access the delay fixing mode, but thats only for startup, the feckers still changing to channel 88 instead of powering down, iv emailed the logitech support so see what they come back with, as far as i can tell its nothing im doing wrong it just doesnt do it!

Anyway go devices dm800 then troubleshoot, mine say update but i said no lol then top one say dm800 not turning off as it should, top again yes help button helps etc

My dvr needs more time to pass etc default 500 change it to 700 and see how it goes mate.

i see it says change power on and off setting so what do u see after that

Software is ok and good if u lose you password etc it can get it back from the device too.

ahhhhhh its pissing me off now like, its no big deal at the same time as i can still switch it off by the power toggle, strange thing is though, when i press watch tv, it fires up the dreambox aswell as the others fine, so it knows the right thing to do to switch it on, so why isnt it using the same thing to switch it off, instead of pressing 8 twice and going to channel 88, nowt iv tried on the troubleshoot has worked, guess its wait for a reply from logitech see if they can sort it for me.. its not the image on the box either as iv changed image today and its still the same, fook knows lol!

calm down mate it can be sorted trust me lol
Right did u install the software and follow my instructions with time delay?
or make anoter activity and only stick the tv and dm800 and see if it works if it dont then try dm8000 instead.

i think so mate, i paid £100 for my one few years ago and apart from the battery given up its been brillaint, I did contact Logitech and they sent a new battery for free lol problem with the batterys blowing up Mine just went fat lol

When you think a Logitech Harmony® 900 is £260 lol
