I have a xenon console, kernel 7371... I found this diagram and was wondering if i just follow this, is that all i need to jtag my console? From what i've been reading, there seems to be something missing, no?

Also found this one... which one is correct???

There is a tutorial floating around on here, but it doesnt give much guidance with regards to wiring, it is mor a tutorial for actually flashing the nand!

Any help is much appreciated!

Found another one... I guess that the 2 later images are the ones im gonna go with, as they both illustrate how to wire the lpt & jtag, whereas the furst image just confuses me!

However, what is the difference between using a switch and 330 ohm resistors? Do the switches have to be soldered a certain way round??

Thanks

Use the last diagram it is the safest way of doing it and use the optional diode.
The line after the triangle indicates you should put the end of the diode with the black band that way round.
Use diodes over resistors as it is a newer and safer method.

You do not need to solder the 3 jtag wires until you are part way through the process.
