DW Dream Menu via the Blue button

• Tuner Selection - Switch between old and new tuner drivers.
• EMU Selection - Evocamd_2.13 & Mgcamd_1.16 (evocamd by default)
• Reload Channels - Reload channels after copying services and bouquets
• Image Backup & Restore - Backup and flash options (read instructions)

Box will be rebooted after new tuner driver selection.

When reloading channels...the following must be done before selecting this option...

Copy services and bouquets files to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma
Copy userbouquet filers to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable

Made easier if you just backup the whole enigma folder.

When selecting image backup option, image will be created in the /tmp folder called DW.img.

When flashing a new image, copy the .img file to the /tmp folder and rename as DW.img before selecting the option. FlashWizardPro backups will not work (i.e. .fw2 or .fwz).

Wiggys recording plugin - mount to /hdd/movie for it to work.

NAS/Samba support - mount via the web interface.

New boot screen and boot audio file.
If you ftp a .m1v (boot screen use logoviewer to convert jpg/gif/bmp etc to m1v) or .mp3 (audio file) to /var/etc and reboot the box then they will overwrite the existing ones.

don't see why not but the keys will be wrong (i think)

not sure if the epgoninfobar mod will bugger up the epginfobar for the sat channels.

Yip m8, been recording to my NAS for a few weeks now. Playback is a bit blocky but ok.

Mount via the web interface, option 3 for SMBFS.

What is the procedure for installing this image in place of the Neutrino dreamplus image I have on my box currently ?

Do I save the DW 1.6 image to the tmp directory and do a 'write' with bootloader?

NEVER WRITE WITH BOOTLOADER ON ANY IMAGE.

use dreamup (slowwwwwwwww)

Installed DW 1.6 image.
Box 'Hung' on initial boot on the logo screen.
Re-booted and it went though to the setup screens.
however, when I came to do an automatic scan, the box just locked up 10 seconds into the scan.

Rebooted and tried a manual scan...same problem.

Any ideas?

I've been running it for a while now and no problems like you've described.

If you have a backup of services and bouquets, copy them over and use the Reload Channels feature in the BLUE button menu.

Alternatively, flash the image again. Copy the DW.img file to the /tmp folder again and use the Flash New Image feature in the BLUE button menu.

How do you use the start/stop ngrab settings in the blue menu ?
I use the direct recording bits but was wondering what the ngrab is and why it is better/worse than the direct recording.

Any help especially from anyone that uses it would be appreciated.

ellie1998 if you can get direct recording to work for you stick with it m8. ngrab is a software you have to run on your computer to enable you to record. Direct recording works through windows without any other programs and works great if you get it working. hope that helps
