you may get charged an extra 24 euro's (VAT for Europe) on this purchase...
I got hit when i bought a new antenna from the states.
They demand it at the door when they deliver.
If its still the same, you dont pay the tax if you get the sender to mark the item as a gift.
Gifts only miss import tax if the value is below £30 IIRC.
Well mine should be turning up from peng in then next 5 - 6 days so i will let you know whether i get stung for import tax when it arives. Does anyone know how they work out the amount? is it 17.5% like VAT is??
Hi,
Got mine today off this bloke [email protected] paid 4150 for it, so worked out about £77 inc 2 working days shipping, told him he maybe getting some more orders.
By the way the box seems to be working really well with neutrino dream plus ultra 0.8b running on it : big crow
Can only see a satellite model on the site, is yours a cable version?
kidder;794964 I will order a few (have to find some mates to go in with me as the postage is huge for only one box) as am currently without either a dbox or dreambox and these babies are pretty good value.[/QUOTE said:My advice to anyone thinking they're clever and getting a job lot ordered together is to think again. Order 1 on its own and you stand a fair chance of no customs/vat charges. Order several and you have NO chance if it slipping through customs.
