You're arguing with facts! lol

Premier League - Transfer balance and five-year comparison

Jurgen Klopp v Jose Mourinho: Transfer spending compared

Revealed: Premier League net spending table sparks a debate over managerial achievements - Independent.ie

Your "alternative facts" are so far off its laughable. As the above will show. Having an eidetic memory doesn't mean that I am google you know. However I do know how to use google, it would seem unlike you. No doubt though, all these links will be wrong. I look forward to your bullshit, I mean reply.

And who said anything about since SAF left? I'm merely showing you how much has been spent. Also I said NET, not gross. You might want to look up the difference.

How dare you disprove a Man U fans thoughts with facts.
You know that they dont believe in them.
Well, they can make you look like a proper tit at times.

Yes, net spend.
The Liverpool fans logic for every single season they win nothing.
Net spend involves selling off the absolute trash you’ve bought in seasons past.

It’s a totally flawed logic, I prefer to look at the total outlay.
Liverpool’s is higher than United.

Pound per trophy from your stats leaves Liverpool and Klopp 400 odd million for nought.

Moving those goalposts I see. Jumpers anyone?

Total outlay of the 2, and you're still above from what I can see, just the past 5 years, and you're nearly 150 on Liverpool. 3rd link clearly shows that.

And I'd hardly say Coutinho was "Absolute trash" considering Barcelona paid 146 million for him (Unsure of exact figure). Clearly over the past 5 years your figures are well off. And without doing to much investigation, i'd also call bullshit on your comment of;

"Liverpool’s spending has been a match for Uniteds throughout premier league history."

But im more than happy for you to post some facts to back up your claim. Meanwhile im off to memorise the rest of the internet, there is a lot to review you know :)

You’ve just screwed your own argument over with that 146m for Coutinho.

Net spend arguments suggest a club selling its best assets.
Suarez, Coutinho 200m plus in profits.
Absolutely no other fans of any other clubs use “net spend” as an argument. This is how I know that whatever you claim, you’re a Liverpool supporter. The claims that you aren’t are fangface levels of I’m not a city fan horse [emoji90]

Liverpool have spent an absolute fortune winning no league titles and nothing of note in 12 years.
It must be tough for you Welsh lads having to support English clubs on the side.

I’ve got huge doubts over that eidetic memory you claim to have.
Being a huge football fan, your eyes must have met with the news that United had won the FA Cup under Van Gaal. Also it was hardly the best kept secret that they won the Europa league title in 2016-17. We finished outside of the top four (I’m sure your eyes would have stored the final league table to your eidetic memory right).

What we have here, is a guy claiming to be a football fan but with a photographic memory. Yet still can’t remember the completely obvious about a club that he is so embittered about.
Even I, without such a gifted memory can remember the trophies that Liverpool have won over the course of the last decade.

Firstly, where have I claimed to have a photographic memory? I think you'll find, I said semi eidetic. Also who said i'm a "huge football fan"? Honestly i've seen less sweeping statements coming from a politician in an election year.

Secondly, im no Liverpool fan. Keep guessing :)

You're completely avoiding the questions, and facts, and resorting to personal insults. Which suggests you've already lost the discussion.

I am not embittered about Man Utd, I just enjoy pointing out your frailties in your points.

You claimed that clubs only sold their "Absolute trash", yet when I mention coutinho, you say i've countered my own discussion?

Your claim that Liverpool have matched Uniteds spending is absolute trash, a claim which you cannot back up. So that's bullshit number 1.

Im a liverpool fan, that's bullshit number 2.

That I said I have a photographic memory, that's bullshit number 3.

I could pull up the rest from this thread, but you will just claim something about City, or Liverpool, or some other random shit that you'll spout.

If you're going to claim stuff, then at least make them fact, and not something that can easily be proven to be incorrect. I've posted fact after fact, and you've ignored them and just made up more bullshit, and tried to attack me personally.

It's laughable gasman, you lost this before you even started! And we wont even go into yesterdays result with Southampton. Continue to enjoy being a mid table team under Mourinho. Keep fighting the good fighting and making up the bullshit to make you feel better about yourself.

If you want to know who I support, then ask. Dont guess, you've already proven you're not very good at it.

Lets address the issues where you’ve basically claimed I’m personally insulting you.
I haven’t insulted you at all. I’ve called you out on claiming to have a photographic memory. Semi or otherwise I don’t think you have, it’s my opinion that you’ve made that up to attempt to bolster a point that you eventually lost anyway.
Even someone with a rather dodgy memory would remember that Van Gaal won the FA Cup, it was such terrible directorship from our board, he walked out of Wembley stadium with the FA Cup and his P45. Someone so embarrassingly embittered should remember these horrific facts.
Secondly (on the same memory loss point) you forgot that Mourinho won the Europa league with United. Why I find it unbelievable that you’ve missed it, is due to the circumstances, we were absolutely shite in the league, so bad that we missed out on the top four with about 5 games to play. Our only chance was to win the EL and give us automatic qualification to the CL, which we duly did.
I’ve a mate like you, he starts arguments all the time, soon as it’s getting away from him, he starts crying about being bullied and picked on, being insulted. He’s alright to be honest, just a bit of a girl.

Back to the debate.

Liverpool’s transfer policy hasn’t changed in decades, it’s always been the same. Sign a pool of prospects, pray one or two make it, if they do then it’s 2-3 seasons and sell it in for maximum profit. Torres,Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho.
They then sell the rest of the trash on, creating this fictional net spend malarkey that they peddle to their supporters every year. They all for it despite it being a totally obvious profit based transfer policy.
Liverpool have made more money through players sales than any other club since 2010.
It’s a workable model but not without failure. Benteke, Andy Carrol, Mario Balotelli some of its greatest jokes.
What happened to Danny Ings? Has he dissolved.

The net spend argument is totally flawed as you can see from the above.

Total outlay ignores a clubs attempts at making a few quid and shows what they are really doing with their squad.
Liverpool recouping more money than anyone else in Europe makes for good figures but also outlines the poor choices.

Ps, we’re shit.
Mourinho picked a team yesterday that was aimed at point scoring off the board. He’s totally abandoned any hopes of keeping his job, he’s trying to get sacked.
Matic-Fellaini-
Lukaku as the spine of a team is an absolute car crash. We played a mixture of Matic/McTominay at CB when we had Rojo on the bench. It was nothing more than a **** you to the board at the expense of results and performance. He’s acting like a complete twat.

No, I don’t what to know who you support [emoji23]
It’s quite obvious who you’re supporting.

However, pound for pound United are a far more successful club than Liverpool.

This seasons Liverpool has to be the luckiest thing I’ve ever watched in my time as a football fan. How they’re even remotely close to Man City beggars belief.

For an eidetic memory to work, then you would have to be aware of things, or have read them. If i've never read them, then how would I remember them? It's a simple thing really. I can remember stuff that I read, or see. I honestly dont pay attention to Man Utd, as I have no interest in them, therefore I dont know lots about them. The points I have made have been through simple research on google.

My point is still valid, that you'd only won 1 trophy within 2 years. 16/17 17/18 season being those 2 seasons. Van gaal won the FA Cup in 15/16 I believe. So whilst a technicality, my point was still valid none the less.

You've resorted to insults throughout the thread, it seems to be your MO. But it's the internet, and easy to hide behind a keyboard, or is that under a bridge, I often forget.

You've suggested that i'm a massive football fan without actually asking. ABU or WUM and now a Liverpool fan, all incorrect. Also i've not started any arguments, i've merely pointed out the holes in your statements. If that makes it an argument then so be it, and if that makes me a girl even better. Im not Janet to us for nothing :)

Your point of Liverpool matching Utd's spending season on season is wrong. However you wish to dress it up, that point is incorrect. Whether their policy has stayed the same or not, the point was incorrect, as I have shown with the links posted.

You seem to think that Utd haven't made some poor signings. Mourinho for instance has spent how much on defenders, then criticised them. I hear now that he's bidding 91m for the Napoli defender. I also see he criticised Pogba openly, again I refer to my earlier points of, it has to be either Mourinho or Pogba that leaves, you cannot have them both at the club at present.

Should we list the signings Utd have made that have failed? Couple of keepers come to mind...

Ings is at Southampton, and he was a free transfer to Liverpool I believe, so they hardly lost out there, I think Southampton paid something like 10m for him. Not a bad return on a free transfer. You also seem to forget that this is a business, and why Arsenal kept Wenger on for so long. That guy was making a profit every year! 4th was good enough as long as the millions kept rolling in. Seems the glaziers are following suit. Wonder how much the debt is these days?

I see your opinion of Mourinho has changed in recent weeks, you were an avid supporter of his in earlier posts. He seems to criticise everyone bar himself, and yes what a record, but there is only so long before you have to accept perhaps you're the problem. And perhaps Mourinho is the problem, or perhaps Utd's dominance is over. Perhaps even both...

Lukaku imo is massively over rated. He can score against the lesser teams pretty well, but he's a no show in the big games. He did extremely well at Everton, but he was a big fish in a little pond. Now he's a big fish in a big pond, and it's just not coming off for him. Im sure he will continue to make a very decent living from it though.

You don't know who I support, even though you claim I do. You've not even been close so far, which is the funniest thing. Also depends what you class as success. If you're talking League titles, then yes Utd win that one, if you're talking European titles then Liverpool win. Overall trophies im not sure. Remember gasman, opinions are like assholes.

I’m sorry but in this decade, United are more successful in Europe.
If you want to talk about the past there’s another thread knocking about where you can do that openly.

Jesus, you’re so desperate to tell me who you support. Please don’t. Because I don’t care. You’re not a proper football fan anyway.
Which is why you’ve spent the last few months of your life ‘not’ following the Manchester United Football Club thread.
Let’s forget about you’re supposed partial photographic memory shall we [emoji23] pun intended.

United’s transfer policy under Ferguson was to buy young, develop the talents and keep them once they flourish.
It’s still at work today, Rashford, Martial, Lingard are key figures from the policy. We have Pereira, Angel Gomes, Fossuh Mensah and Chong who should make it.
We go a step further, keeping absolute shite, Jones, Smalling etc.
Liverpool’s transfer policy will remain the same, they’ve chucked some money in this summer expecting great things but salad isn’t going to break any transfer records now because he’s reverted to the player Chelsea got shut of.

We’ve not got the same sense of entitlement that you endure with the scousers. We’re just grateful for having been so brilliant for two decades under Ferguson.
Toward the end even he was struggling to keep up the winning streak with squad investment being hampered by poor ownership.
We replaced Christiano Ronaldo with Antonio Valencia. Most common sense United fans knew where we were headed at that point.
We had Ji Sung Park and Darren Fletcher In midfield.

Lukaku is just a brute.

My opinion of Mourinho changes all the time. At first I thought he trying to get sacked, then the Newcastle result bolstered us, then he started picking the teams we wanted to see and the results came.
It seems that he was picking those teams through injury and now we’re back to picking formless individuals for no apparent reason.
Would you expect me to blindly stand by my opinion when the situation changes? I’m just not that interested in saving face, I’d rather face facts.
He’s getting it desperately wrong at the minute and I recognise it.

You might think that he is shite, but he has still out scored any United player, so how shite are they??

Didn’t say he was shite, he’s just not going to get top dollar from Barcelona or Madrid for his signature, now that his level has sunk back towards his mean.

It’s not hypocrisy, it’s lazy.
I’ve not changed it since that happened because I can’t be arsed [emoji23]

Just read my bio aswell.

That’s still current news [emoji23][emoji106]
