I'm well pleased that De Gea has signed a new 4 year contract, we all know that contracts in football mean little these days but at least we know that we have a world class goalkeeper between the sticks and if he does decide to move on then at least we will get a realistic fee for him.

That injury to Shaw looked god awful, picture of it on twatter and it's pretty horrific, hopefully he can recover but what on earth was the defender still doing on the field.
Mata had a shocker and both he and Schweiny was on their knees by the end but we did have some good movement with pace up front. Substitutions were bordering terrible but even so, how the hell did we loose that ?

Smalling is excellent and I've been proven wrong about Blind at CB too, maybe the manager made a mistake breaking our CB partnership up. Should have left Blind where he was and shoved Rojo LB weakening one position instead of two ?
