Jtag Board for cloud ibox4?

Well bbs wont write to bad blocks.

Purely hypothetical but im wondering if the offset hex value can be change to avoid that first block ?

My cloud ibox 4 does not work only the red light is on. I plugged this jTag as in the photo, but I have no connection ( State: disconnected) any suggestions? I have two of these boxes, each the same problem

Upload a picture of your solder points ?

Make sure your using window xp also.

I checked in windows xp and windows 8.1 and still no connection. there is a Toshiba nand memory TC58NVG0S3ETA00 . Solder points is ok ,just like in the picture.

tuner has to be turned on? when connected jtag? or only the jtag?

Hey Ferret i have swapped the slc to sdc to see if that connects but still doesnt, the other thing i noticed is that when all the 4 wires are connected the usb device on device manager says a fault has occurred i switch of and switch on the cypres board and its coming up as unknown device when these wires are connected but when the wires are taken off it goes back to showing as broadcom test adapter.... On the bb3 software its still showing as no connected.... Any ideas?

Im stuck but i will try a little more, Should the drivers for xp be showing as broadcom test adapter or should i be trying to install it as using the cypres drivers.... And another thing is there are more than one gnd on the cypress and more than one 3.3v pins is it ok to connect to any of them?

From memory there are a couple of gnd pins on the Cypress. What Cypress do you have the dual jumper version or the single jumper version.

Windows XP needed no additional drivers.

The guy trying to fix mine said he couldn't fix it as the chip works when connected to the pc via jtag but when its working on its own it doesn't and goes to red light, any kind person who could have a go at my box pls, will to pay here

Today i try to make jtag in my ibox 4 but i can´t connect with pc in broadband Studio 3 say disconnect.
what i can do?

just got my jtag board today and was having same problem. i made the silly mistake of not connecting the power switch from the rear panel back on to the motherboard so that it was able to power up :Mad2: Doh lol. anyway was able to connect to broadcom, tried to make .xml file for toshiba TC58NVG0S3ETA00 and add to flash folder in broadcom and it crashed every time. delete file and broadcom work again.
So has anyone got the Bcm97335 file with the toshiba flash in it or any ideas on how to get .xml file??

yeah success!!!!!!!!!! no more red light. after getting the right .xml file and flashing the chip the thing now actually works. thank you forum for the wealth of information on here roud::BLOBBY::banana:oc::angelwing

had another one to do that wasn't connecting and showing the jtag board as unrecongised usb device. when board was on it own was ok but as soon as i connect box4 same thing. ended up removing and resoldering the sdl and sda cables and worked a treat after that. wee tip just incase anyone else has the same trouble
