l have a few of these and work great , the one in my office was taking alittle time to buffer and load , turned it upside down and it was 100 times better ? , so swapped with and other and its was the same . if anyone has a poor internet with there box can they try this and see its just me or do they work better upside down , u can just check load speed of a film

Just ordered one of these boxes to see if it will work outside the UK, does anyone know if you can change the dns in developer mode? Failing that, can I use my computer as a wifi hotspot and connect the box to that, I'll be loading Plex onto it now i've worked out how Plex works on my laptop!

got mine today but cant work out how to get xbmc or navi-x on it any help peeps ?

@dazling, I don't think it works with xbmc yet.

Not received mine yet, but loaded Plex on my mac, search google for "unsupported app store" and load that into plex, and then in plex, channels,view all, click on the unsupported app store icon and you will see navi x, icefilms, and loads of others. It's almost as good as XBMC when you work out how to use it, but it's not as straight forward to learn how it all works.
It took me a long time to work out that I needed Plex, and Plex Media Server installed on my computer to get Plex to work.

I have both plex and plex media server installed on my PC I have put the unsupported app store folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Resources\Plug-ins and then searched via my now tv box but none of the unsupported apps are showing, I have also put the unsupported apps folder into \AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins and they are still not showing what am I doing wrong?

Ignore all that ive worked it out was trying to install the apps via the now tv box instead of within plex on my pc all sorted now I think lol although I can get stuff to play on icefilms I cant on nav-x keeps saying that its empty?

after sifting thru all these replys to the original post I am still unclear as to what this box will do!

can someone explain plex better please and give me a quick what this box will now do after being out there for a while?

would be very much appreciated......

best way to think of this box is it a player and you need a source and this source is plex which has to run on a computer ,with out plex running the box will not do a lot ,with out paying sky some money

You will get 4ondemand, 5ondemand and iplayer and a few other bits and bobs, but as said, you need plex or somut for everything else.
