Installing apps on the now tv box

Has anyone tried this, ive found a site that shows you a backdoor, i was going to get rid of my virgin box in the bedroom and with the daughter moving out soon returning both room boxes and reducing my package.
happened to aquire a brand new now box from ma mum and done a bit of searching and found this

is this possible for say the usual android builds like griff which is an app, i have it on my android box but thought i would try it on the now box after reading this site.

no not android app, its a low level ruko box so i think the only real thing you can is plex

did you check that link out, seems it takes you in a back door of the now box,also you can add a memeory card to the box maybe for storage

it cant do it, but give it a go if you dont beleive me.

It is a back door to install roku apps not android.
