r4i files help please

hi all i have friends r4i gray card with black sticker on it.


cards not working on his ds now. 1.41 and wifi says on it as well.
i cant find 1.43 files if i need to put them on? i am not sure

please can someme help me with files to put on it for him to try get card working.


i tryed woods 1.41 onto his sd card no joy.

yes r4i-sdhc.com. but i can only see woods 1.51 dose not work. tryed r4i 1.51b as well. and wood r4 1.41 put files on sd.

Format the sd card and put the 1.51b from the site. Only put 1 firmware at a time.

Is the is it a dsl or dsi??

1 is dsi xl. and other is dsi. both with the same r4i v1.41 in yellow says upgrade revolution for ds. formatted cards last time in fat i think.

what firmware is the dsi running on?

to check:
1: start up console without a game catridge in it
2. select settings (spanner icon)

your firmware version will be displayed on one of the screen..

1 running 1.4.3e says on screen. i think he tryed to change time on his ds's. and they stopped working. not sure if i need to put on 1.41 and update it to 1.43 or something. just trying to get it working with no joy as of yet.

the dsi has been has updated , this has block the flashcard.

what exactly does it say on card/packaging?

can u poost a picture of card?

You need a new card which has the 1.4.3 sticker on.

that card cant be updated to play on anything above dsi 1.4.1..

ok i'll let him know. cant i update to 1.43 and get this card working for him at all. or even working with 1.41 again would be better than nothing.

no m8,
the console has been updated to 1.4.3, this has blocked the card.
dsi firmware cannot be rolled back and the card cannot be updated.

thye card will work on an older dsi or a dslite.

that card can be updated to 1.43 and all you need is a dsi with software lower than 1.41 or a ds

sorry to hijack your thread but i got the same card as op

which update file will i need this is gonna be used on ds lite do i upgrade
to R4i-SDHC V1.4.3 kernel download with (v1.43 or v1.42 or v1.41 or v1.4 marks)

no need to worry on the ds lite mate
its only really the dsi and 3ds that would need to be updated

ok if reading right you have 2 ds machines ? one has been updated to 1.43 ?
the other is still 1.41 and card runs ?
if so you can use that and update thats in firmware 1.51b to update your card to 1.43
