Hi everyone,

Apologies for being absent from the forum.

We've been working very hard (you will not believe the hours we all put in) to develop on the TM-800.

By the week beginning 20th September, we plan to release an image with the following fixes:

1. Card reader
2. Full PVR
3. Full Dolby Digital & Dolby Digital Plus
4. Full 1080p

and lots of other fixes.

In the mean time, beta updates will be released and will start from next week.

By the end of the month/beginning of October, media playback (mkv, etc) will also be ready.

update: wifi is also ready and going through final stages of testing

i just hope you realise that by comitting yourself to release dates, this is whats been a mjaor cause of peoples problems, as well as the main features of the receiver not functioning as it should

come 20th september, if nothing is released that actually FIXES whats claimed above, i can see ebay being suddenly flooded with 2nd hand TM800s

By the week beginning 20th September, we plan to release an image.......................

.................come 20th september..............

I wouldn't recognise a TM 5/6/800 if it hit me on the head but I read the OP as could be as late as 26th Sep, i.e. anytime that week ???????
Hopefully sooner rather than later for all you guys waiting on tenterhooks.
Just my tuppence worth,
HH.

I hope this is true ur-team, lot's of folks relying on you and even more so now you have commited as digi says!

Wouldn't it be nice if by this time next year the TM800 is the must have HD receiver within it's price bracket. It's certainly got the hardware for it, now all we need are those broken promises fixed.

I'm not too bothered about the next update, I've grown accustomed to the box as is, I've learned to live with it's AWOL functions, but I know many people are unhappy that it still doesn't even do the basic things that it claims on the packaging.

I really wish they'd get the wi-fi fixed so I can make use of the shiney card I put in it months ago that actually picks up signals just fine. I'm disabled and have to come down the stairs on crutches trying to avoid the 10m cat5e cable running down to the box. No matter how close to the wall I put it, somehow the kids manage to catch it and sticks out here and there... I swear they're trying to do me in! Little buggers :)

the card reader is working.
a mate has the tm800 and loaded cccam 214 with latest firmware v13 and his sky and totaltv cards work.

@ cheekymonkey, are you sure??

Divx and MKV playback will blow my mind, it's about the ONLY fix I really care about.

Let's hope it's more reliable than the Spiderbox's pathetic attempt.

i.e, two thirds of Divx encoded movies wouldn't play and no x264 movies played at all. :(

removed all posts regarding other boxes
this is about the TM800 not 500/600
sorry guys

back now :) apologies
ticked wrong box

I'm confused - you sure you're talking about the TM800? What is the v13 firmware then???

Anyway, UR team says that card reader is NOT working (it's 1st on the list to fix).

@ dj999...

Could you ask your mate if he has added anything extra to the box or has he done any software reconfiguring?

Are you sure he's not using an external usb card reader?

And like fdlsys asks, wtf is v13?

It's not v14's younger brother is it?:)
