God of War 3 is 40gb, so that is a significant portion of any hard drive.
the good news is, that its been confirmed that games ripped onto an external drive, will be playable in any other ps3 that also has the dongle attached. so these should start appearing all over the net soon.
i downloaded the "viking battle for asgard" one that has appeared on news groups, and it looks to be legit. you think they would have uploaded something worth while though. just need for someone to clone this now.
there are a few other games appearing on newsgroups just now.

so if it does play ripped games with JB than anyone got any good site for PS3 games to be downloaded from? any guys would like to share some sites just as a heads up b4 the JB comes out cos it might be useful if it works lol
There are lots of games appearing in the newsgroups now. I suspect that because nobody has actually got one of these JB Dongles that the games being uploaded wont work.
From some of the videos I've watched it looks like they always put an original game into the drive, which leads me to think that the JB Dongles is like the old Swap Magic on the PS2. It might copy some code from an original disk onto the dongles then that will allow copies to play.
Leaves me out as I dont own any PS3 games.

Goes to twitter RSS feed for me. And it says that they have reversed the dongle without actually having the hardware. So my original statement was accurate, that the dongle has been dumped and reveresed.
I updated mine the other night which hadn't been done in about 6 months.

if you can back up the orig game to an ext hdd most likley you can upload those files to the net so people like me can download them and play....

so far the only 2 games that are real are:-
Viking_PS3_PS-Jailbreak
Little_Big_Planet_PS3_PS-Jailbreak_ironie
the rest are fake.
there are quite a few of these dongles in the wild, as they had to sent them out to various sites too prove that they were real.
the dongle is actually a service tool that sony use to repair bricked ps3's, similar to the pandora batteries for psp.

It'll be a little more than a straight clone of the Jig Stick. No doubt the majority of the hack is taken straight from the Jig, but it'll be heavily modified and possibly even improved.

That's what I'd be like if I hadn't bought most of my games via the second hand market to save a few quid lol oops....still what I do is of no consequence to them either way regardless - I could buy every game out there on that system yet if enough people are copying and they ain't making enough then it's under it goes - they reckon that's what killed the Dreamcast though I disagree that it was the only reason....I think it also happened to a tv channel I forget what it was called but they went under because everyone was stealing subs or something. Just goes to show though, look out for number 1 and be happy.
