Please can someone out-there, and try and put this issue on our TM600 to bed.

When changing channel/provider on "30w as an example" the TM will get the tp correct, but display the wrong program.

After a bit of back & fro we get the desired program.

If we stay with A single provider, then this problem does not occur.

Any Help Welcome

OK I hqad this problem last year.
It is because the provider uses near identicle tp's for example 12345 V 27500 also 12345 h 27500 and it gets mixed up.
Change one to 12347 maybe and try that.

Cheers manic,

they do share a couple of TP's, on the H/V way.
Just drive me nuts as One prov works perfect until you cange to the other (which has some FTA channels of interest).

Using prov "A" works zipity split all day long. But mix in prov "B" then thing go crazy.

Allways get the correct tp, just not the correct "program"

Yes i would have axn on , channel hop for a while go back to axn and it would be porn lol.
Have you tried out solution to see if ok now?

This is a feature m8 not every box can do that, who needs AXN anyhow... lol

Bear with me on this one peeps, it is really doing my head in.
(or to be more precise, mrs csb is doing my head in, over this prob)

If its non-fixable please let me know.

PS On share, no locals.

Sorry manic (couldn't try yesterday), will try today. But don't think that will sort it.

M guessing it can be fixed in a conf file somewhere ?

I'm comfortable using DBEdit and firing off Program/Bucket/Transponder changes, scanning in...etc

Thanks Manic, tried your thing but with no joy.

However using:

Fta tele-madrid (TMADRID SAT) 11771v 27500 3/4 (PROVIDER 2) as a reference,

and using the swap (0 button) to change to the other provider/prog, I get a different prog everytime (but still from the same TP).

Maybe ?

if not explained ?

This could be a "New Feature" ?

For example "Lucky dip channel selection"

: whip : sorry mrs csb, i'm sure these guys will have an answer

If your picking up different transponders, on the same frequency except they are different polarities, it would suggest to me that the skew on the lnb is not set correctly, you should not be able to see the other polarity. My guess anyhow.

As Manic suggested try lower the frequency that is stored in your config for one of the channels by a few kc's and on te other channel adjust upwards a few kc's store them and see if it works.

Hi installer,

good point (I have been using our fixed 30w dish "pro installed 10yrs ago") I'll put it on the motorised and report back any changes.

As for different TP's, thats not the problem (I haven't tried every combination).

I have on 30w 1 provider that works perfect, 2nd provider is/seems to be causing issue.

The problem is when changing providers/channels, I get the correct TP, but the wrong channel.

cheers csb

I had same issue and mine is motorised. Its a TM thing. Works ok on other stb.

Thanks manic,

kinda got the feeling it was a software issue, just never heard it mentioned before.

Thanks again for your time

Still trying to get this resolved and tried a few more things.

I've changed UR image for a few different versions with no luck

Stipped down the channel list to only the one provider and thier TP's, no luck

This hasn't happened, touch wood, on any of the other providers I can get, including the same provider but on 19.2e.

Eventually noticed if I reset the cam (blue-button green-button) the correct channel would display.

Anyone have any ideas

I noticed that the TM600 seemed to cache things even when you made changes - like channel list updates etc.

If you are willing to, try this:

factory reset the whole box - i.e wipe it totally.

Then manually add the channels / providers you are having problems with and then try switching channels.

See if the problem still occurs when u have nothing else loaded on the box :)

Good luck!

Thanks Timbo,

anything is worth a try.

However I got the same results with DS & Pli images (if anything they were worse).

as long as you did the "factory reset" or whatever it's called then that's ok - it's doing that that seemed to cure my issues when I was trying to make the changes.

are the 2 providers sharing the same frequency on the same satellite, if so they must be using different polarities and if that is the case your lnb does not have enough isolation between polarities, this could be 2 tings, skew angle off so your gettin cross polarity or just poor rejection on the lnb itself, you did say it was 10 years old i think, correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure its not the lnb or dish, tried the motorised 1m and it makes no difference.

Got to be a CCcam issue, or associated file that needs some additions, but thats beyond my knowledge.

cheers csb
