The problem with sly anytime is that the amount of available programming is restricted by the size of the anytime partition on your boxes inbuilt harddrive, where as on the cable system the limitation is the size of the Harddrive media servers at virgins head end, (which runs into the Terabytes).

I feel like suing the Beeb for the simple reason if I did not pay my T.V license I would go to prison! Is there a lawyer about to sue the Beeb for showing rubbish? There's plenty of proof.

I think it will be more interesting when ofcom's pay tv report is out later this month. If ofcom rule in favour of VM it will be the end of Sky's monopoly on pay tv and VM have vowed to lower their prices as a result.

I would wait and see what happens till end of this month before contacting both companies to see who has the best deal.

it hasnt hit my area yet but im on XL tv, M Phone and 50meg BB for £60pm, i used to pay £45 for L TV, M Phone and 2meg BB,but i think i got a decent deal.

well im with sky i have sky+ not hd yet 20mg bb line rental and calls anytime and multiroom all for just under £60 but i might ring them again because i may want sports if n3 kicks in here (manchester)there probably is a better deal but i've had this a while.

SKY for me guys, as soon as my area was hit I signed up for the half price everything including a multiroom spare hd box for the bedroom. Happy paying the £30 p/m for the year. Just in the middle of going for me broadband and phone with them from talktalk. Picture & sound is awesome in HD. No comparison me thinks.
