2100c jtag help!!

HI,i cant seem to find the right info anyware ! & its the first 1 iv done!! ok ..i bekive this is what i have to do (using a pogo j-tag)
1. run. BKE.2.2 , got to > tool> jtag . edit config1, put latest pure bytes ware it says [n*l boxkey] =0x00895934 8
2. make sure >>>> mac_not, is running
3. tick >> samsung 2100c (davic)
4. hold j-tag in place
5.turn on box ...wait till ld20 ..& click conect on ..BKE2.2.
and i should see my bk & ird ...is that correct??????? the things im not sure about is ...does the box have to be in debug mode? /or on stream, & is the bytes right ,,,iv double checked them on the toolbar but just wonna make sure, im in pure & the box is on 3_6 allready, as iv checked in the menu. thanks in advance :Cheers:

hi, u seem to be doing everything right except when powering up the box, no cable feed, hold the up and down volume until box shows ld40 then let go.

u still might hav to try a few times with the pogo setup - personally i prefer to solder the wires - then u no u hav a good connexion.

u also need to have DRVLOAD running in the back ground before u open up anything else

ok thanks guys ..iv just found a pic of the points on the board ..& they were 2,5,7,9,13 & *16* , but on my pogo pins there the same but the last pin is touching point number *20* on the board & not *16* like in the pic iv found, hmm i got it from TMC so shurly it cant be the wrong j-tag ??

&@ teeny , waht does DRVLOAD, do ..& doi need it with BKE 2.2 ....cheers .guys let u know how i get on

P16 or 20 is gnd so your jtag is ok
You need DrvLoad.exe running the MAC_MOT.SYS file

aahhh kk m8 .though i had i dud t-tag then ..thanks alot!! so" DRVlload.exe.IS the mac_mot.file ////// there both the same ? ...i must be no conecting the pins right.or something ..will have another go in the morn & let u all knows ....ty every1

u say u have the pogo jtag, there are 2 types .... one for the pace and one for the sammy....do u have the correct one, they are interchangable on the same board..

as yes it does have to be in debug mode and the mac has to be running before u open other program

yes @ teeny its deffo the sammy pogo j-tag , so could u tell ma again how 2 put it in debug mode ....& i ahve to run DRVlload.exe, b4 i open ..BKE2.2..ok thanks

open drvload and run it , open bke , select ur box and config , Boot the box up with jtag connected, no cable feed. Wait till display goes LD:20
Press and hold (down arrow button) on front of box for about 5 seconds or release when display reaches LD:40 , then wait for a minute or 2 until the standby light turns from red to green

You dont need feed in to jtag,just be in debug mode and have mac mot running.Not saying with it in it changes anything but ive never jtagged any with main vermin feed in.

In your first post you say you put
0x00895934 8 in the config take the 8 of the end so it just says 0x00895934
and try again in if it dont work sack bk2.2 and use sdt instead with drload and mac mot its well easier in the bottom put 0x00895934 change bytes from 12 to 8 and click read result will show in bottom window....job done
you dont need the feed in.

Hi Guys,

Not wanting to hi-jack a thread.

But i'm looking into modding my first box which happens to be the 2110c as i have one laying around.
Would anyone have a copy of the tut, as the downloads are still down and after searching for an hour im even more confused then when i started.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
But i need; Box (have), Jtag (No but possible make if not buy), fun card and programer (no idea).

I'm not asking for every answer just to be given a starting point.
If it works out expensive i may just by a Dreambox.

only way on a 2110 is to have the paired card for the box

There is a card in the box that is no longer active but used to be when we had multi room if thats any good ?

depends if card was left in box or box was still nstream wen subs cancelled
