I would've released it myself probably today or tomorrow but obviously some people can't wait.

Hi all. Long time lurker small time poster here, (dont know enough about anything to be confident with these boxes).
Glad to see theres a fix, but sad to see that its been released under somewhat of a cloud. Well done to all involved in any case and I hope those who were/are in the wrong get their come-uppance).

However, I have a bit of a problem with the AU fix that I'm hoping someone could help me with?

Did as all the instructions have said, (deleted all ROM10, 11 and even 3 files from the keys folder, added the new Nagrarom7, changed its attributes to 755 etc..), but I still dont get services.

Been looking into it and noticed that the keylist.txt file is still being populated by ROM10 codes even though this has been deleted from the box. Also noticed in tuxbox the Nagrarom7 file is shown in yellow, whereas all othere files are written in white? Any reason for this?





I'm on an old sportster image, (written by Cydine I notice).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: got it going. Realised that there werent any of the associated nagraram files in the keys folder. They were hiding in the 'disabled' folder, (think that ROM7 had previously been disabled). Put them in the keys folder and she fired up like a dream. Well done again to Cydine who did the fix.

Right back to basics, after you have transfered the ROM dont forget to right click on the file CHMOD the file to 755. This should sort all your problems out.

I've managed to get mine working but I did'nt CHMOD the file to 755.
will this make any difference?

Sorted now it was my flashfxp program, i downloaded cuteftp and was able to change the attributes to 755 all working ok now thanks for the help guys and a big thanks to Cydine for the original fix

I installed the fix yesterday on the new Lacky Sylas image and it didnt pick up the keyroll today (just before kick off!!) I cant figure out whats wrong, could the fact I didnt chmod 755 have any impact?

Fix worked OK for me. Make sure you delete rom 10 and rom 11. I deleted them in keys and scce folder. A big thanks to all concerned with sorting it out so mere mortals could do it themselves.

Works with dbox2 and dreambox!!!!
Updated the ROM7 file and deleted all ROM 10 & 11 files.
Rebooted & waited 2 mins and hey presto.

Installed the new Laky image on my sagem 1x and then applied the new fix (chmodded to 755). However it doesn't seem to be au'ing for me.

Is there some settings im supposed to change? or do you think a new fresh image flash would help?

Also, where is the option to turn au off & on?

well i have the commando image on, all i did was delete nagrarom 11s & 10s in the var/scce folder and inserted the nagarom 7 rebooted and all good
