Carpet for me, I can stand that fake wood crap!

Real Wood in a lounge and dining room, yes....but a bedroom no!

wood all the way, carpet gets ruined with make up all over it, there dinner on it, dirty shoes etc, wooden floors just need a brush. if you get cold feet you are just soft. lol get some slippers like me.

Real wood flooring or carpet yes
lamanet wood flooring no it will start creaking when you walk on it after a while even if you use the thick green underlay pads

how about wood and a rug lol

Thats what she said.

Got real wood in the hall and dinning room but to be honest i want carpet.

Looking like carpet at the mo hehehehe

Aint showing her this thread though lol.

anoy next door

If you want to anoy next door get wood, next to me have wood flooring in the bedrooms and i can hear every movement they make every time the bedroom door gets shut it sounds like they are slaming it,wood is only good for the people that have it in their house, when next door had carpets it was just the normal sounds you get from nabours.

plus kids always drop sh!t lol it would sound as if they are coming thro the ceiling lol

Downstairs is all wood and floor tiles here because of the mess the dog makes but upstairs its got to be carpets for me.Wooden floors are to cold and to noisy to have upstairs

i have wood and a rug lot better then carpet but dont drop the remote on the floor in the night as it makes a bit of a bang.
but yes give it ago if you dont like it you can go back you carpet.

put the laminate good quality one. esay to clean, looks clean and put rug if you feel cold.

I've just put real wood in the in the dining room.
Though it looks great, I'd never put it in a bedroom.
Plus laminate with a rug on it sounds like a death trap to me lol

We had carpets all over the house, now we have wood.

It is said that Asthma is more prevalent than ever, I believe that when fitted carpets and central heating became the norm, that's when Asthma started increasing and I blame the carpets.

I think wood flooring is more healthy and hygenic.

Trouble is if you damage the flooring, there's not a lot you can do 'cos you can't just take one section out and replace it. Not properly anyway (I'm talking interlocking flooring)

Up until last week I would have said carpet but just seen my mates newly done bedroom that is floored with tiles with undertile heating, he has it on a timer so his tootsies don't get frost bitten first thing in the morning !

It really looks well and is not the same old same old.

i too prefer carpet, my bedroom floor is wooden or laminate. was like it when we moved here.
1. its noisy for those downstairs when u walk about
2. its cold on feet
3 slippery if you spill any liquids on it like baby oil( and i mean for makeup reasons calm down lads......... well most the time heheeh)
4. yes it does creak like someone else says which is annoying
5. when having ummm ..........intimate times. the bed moves all over the place heheh.
when we can , we'll go back to carpet for sure xx
